JLL-owned builder opens subsidiary firm in Italy

Jones Lang LaSalle-owned general contractor Tétris Design & Build has opened a subsidiary in Italy.
French-based Tétris group's new company has its headquarters in Milan and is managed by chief executive officer Philippe Sourdois and commercial director Claudio Ceresa. Based on its business plan, the company is expected to employ six more staff by the end of 2011. Tétris, which also has offices in Spain, Portugal, Belgium and the UK, employs a staff of 90 globally.
JLL's chief executive in Italy, Pierre Marin, said that the new opening in Italy is part of "a greater international project." Sourdois, the new company's head, says that the financial crisis has created some good business opportunities in Italy.
"Major corporates have reduced their support structures in order to focus on core business," he said in a statement. "We are here because these firms need our ten-year experience in fit-out in order to focus on their clients while we support them in the choice, planning and development of their new offices."
